E-Library Services

Photocopy Services are available at subsidized charges


Inter-Library Loan facilities exist among all Nigerian University Libraries. Users can be referred to another Library where they can access any material that is not available in AFLC.


Audio-Visual Services such as video/audio coverage, recordings of events, programmes for interested users at subsidized charges. Entertains users with various television programmes daily, throughout the opening hours of the Library.


Bindery Services repair and bind damaged books, newspapers, journals and other printing works.


The Division's Viewing Section entertains users with various television programmes daily, throughout the opening hours of the Library.

Library Opening Hours

During Semester
Monday - Friday        = 8:00am - 10:00 pm
Friday: Closed            = 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Saturdays & Sundays = 8:00am - 6:00pm
Public Holidays           = Closed

During Vacation
Monday - Friday        = 8:00am - 6:00 pm
Saturdays                   =  8:00am - 1:00 pm
Sundays and Public Holidays = Closed
 

Library Registration

Library registration is mandatory for all staff and students in order to benefit from the facilities and services of the Library. Users must adhere to the following:
  • All students are expected to register with the Library
  • Submit valid registration form duly signed by all those concerned, University Identity Card, with confirmation of admission letter signed by the Registrar or his representative for newly admitted students. The continuing students are to submit valid registration form and the University Identity Card. The number of cards issued is based on the following categories:
  1. Senior Staff - Ten tickets
  2. Undergraduate Students - Four tickets
  3. Postgraduate Students - Six tickets
  4. Matriculation / Certificate / Diploma Student - Two tickets
  •  No person will be allowed to use the Library until he/she is registered. Library membership card must be shown before being allowed into the Library.
  • Faculty members are to produce appointment letters and letters of introduction from their Heads of Department. Borrower's tickets and membership card will then be issued.

The Main Library is known as Abdullahi Fodiyo Library Complex (AFLC)

Efforts are being made to establish Libraries for Faculties of:
